What goes into your shed quote?
A useful quote starts with your design and the property details that turn it into a buildable plan.
Try your ideas in the 3D builder
A custom shed quote should tell you what is being built, what is included, and what needs to happen on your property. Two sheds with the same outside dimensions can have different layouts, finishes, access requirements, and project scope.
The 3D shed builder helps you show Patriot Outdoor Services what you have in mind. It does not calculate a price or issue a final quote. We review the selections and site details with you before confirming scope and pricing.
Start simple, then add what you need.
The Utility Gable starts as a straightforward 8 × 8-foot shed with 6½-foot walls, one single shed door, and no added windows, vents, steps, or ramps. It is a useful starting point when you want practical storage without extras.
Workshop / Garage, Porch / Cabin, Gambrel Barn, and Lean-To starting designs offer different roof profiles and opening layouts. Their preset sizes and features are suggestions you can change, not fixed packages or published prices. Choose the style that suits the job, then review every selected item.
Size and access shape the plan.
Overall width and length, wall height, and any covered porch help define the building. On porch designs, the porch uses part of the selected overall length, so check the enclosed portion as well as the total footprint.
The entrance should suit what you will move through it. The builder offers single and double shed doors, a residential door, French doors, and a roll-up door. Shorter single and double shed-door options are available for the 6½-foot wall selection; the residential, French, and roll-up doors keep their standard planning heights.
- Tell us the largest item's dimensions and how it will enter.
- Choose windows around work areas and shelving plans.
- Include any ramp or step and the space it needs outside.
Make the exterior choices clear.
Choose siding and trim colors separately, then select the roofing material and color. The builder includes architectural shingles and metal roofing. If you choose Custom Color, use your notes to explain the color you want or a finish it should match.
Single and double shed doors follow the shed's body color. Residential, French, and roll-up doors appear white, with trim chosen separately. Check all four sides so the door positions, windows, vents, and exterior finish reflect your request.
The preview shows the idea; the written quote confirms the actual materials and finish selections for your build.
Send the design, then discuss pricing.
When the design looks right, submit the shed quote request with your contact details and notes. Include the project address and intended use so we can discuss the property as well as the building. Not sure about an option? Say so rather than choosing it just to finish the form.
A submitted design is a request for review, not an order or a price commitment. Patrick will discuss the design, any changes, the site requirements, and pricing with you. The agreed scope and price come before construction is scheduled.
